Mark Kipp began his career in the financial services industry more than 20 years ago. A licensed financial advisor and investment advisor representative holding his FINRA Series 66 and Series 7 securities registrations, he also holds life and health insurance licenses. Mark brings a passion for excellent client care and uses the vast resources of Prime Capital Investment Advisors to benefit his clients. Mark focuses his time on working with individuals, families, business owners and executives on their multigenerational wealth management strategies and corporate retirement plans. When it comes to helping clients Mark says, “I love the diversity of clients I have developed through the years; I think it gives me a unique perspective on the needs of both big business as well as successful individuals and small firms. In the morning I might be talking with one of the nation’s largest companies with 250+ offices and 4,000 employees, and in the afternoon with the owner of a successful entrepreneurial local business with a staff of four.”

He is quick to point out that Prime Capital with its team approach allows him to be in this unique position. “The way we operate at Prime Capital allows us to scale up or down and still deliver outstanding service. We assign two, three or sometimes even more advisors to each client we serve no matter what their size. We believe more heads are better than one when it comes to financial matters.”

Mark grew up in the Kansas City area and graduated from Bishop Miege High School, a private Catholic school. “Growing up in a large family was a big positive for me. Relationships are the most important thing, and I had an immediate comfort level with Prime Capital when I joined the team because I know many of my colleagues personally for over two decades.” Mark also understands what it’s like to be a business owner. Before joining the firm, Mark founded and ran his own mortgage and real estate business with his brother in Denver. “When my brother moved to San Francisco to get married, I made the decision to join Prime Capital. I never even considered working for anyone else. For such a professional firm with world-class services and capabilities, it’s also very down-to-earth and family- and friend-oriented.”

A graduate of Kansas State University, Mark has a great sense of humor, a big circle of friends and is very involved with his community. He lives on a 45-acre lake in Bonner Springs, Kansas called Lake of the Forest, and loves to fish with his wife and daughters as often as he can.” He is serving his second term as a City Councilman for Bonner Springs and considers it an honor to be elected. He and his wife, Cristie, have three daughters—Audrey, Lily and Sydney—all three are left-handed, even though neither parent is, “a statistical anomaly.” Once a year, The Kipps host a fishing tournament in their community and really enjoy introducing children to a hobby they love.
