Mark provides consulting and advisory services for defined contribution and defined benefit programs. In his role as plan consultant, he assists clients in developing long-term strategic plans for all corporate sponsored retirement programs to include plan design, investment consulting, vendor search and selection, as well as participant communication.
Mark has been involved in the retirement plan industry for more than 25 years and has been specifically focusing on integrated defined benefit/defined contribution/non-qualified strategies for large plan sponsors. Prior to joining the firm, he has held various positions including national practice leader – retirement plan services for the fourth largest global brokerage/risk management firm.
Mark has earned the prestigious Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF) designation from the Center of Fiduciary Studies. The AIF designation signifies an investment professional has demonstrated an ability to manage an investment process to a defined Global Fiduciary Standard of Care.
Mark was recently recognized by 401kwire.com, a news service geared toward insiders in the retirement industry, as one of 2011’s 300 Most Influential Defined Contribution (DV) Advisors.
Mark earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas in 1983. He lives in Orland Park, IL, with his wife Lisa and their three daughters.
