Alan McClain, Houston, advises clients on all facets of financial and estate planning, helping them chart a financial course for lifetime wealth creation. His areas of experience include planning strategies for retirement, estate planning, business succession planning and investment portfolio management.

Before joining Prime Capital Investment Advisors, Alan joined what is now Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management in 2006 as the Managing Director of the Houston office. Prior, he was a partner at Stabil Capital Management, Inc. Alan showcases his passion for helping people in his role as client advisor and planner.

Alan is a graduate of Texas A&M University, Corpus Christi, with a BBA in Finance. He has also completed a course in Leadership Excellence at the University of California at Berkley and is a graduate of Leadership Corpus Christi. Alan stays busy in the business community as a member of the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) and the Houston Angel Network (HAN).

In his off time, Alan, a native Coloradan, enjoys being active outdoors. He has completed 12 marathons, including the Boston Marathon, the Baja 500 Off-Road Race, but most importantly, he enjoys spending time outside with his family.
