Jen Staben set out to be a teacher. From originally wanting to teach middle school English, to holding multiple different roles in the financial services industry, she ended up doing just that – teaching. Jen’s philosophy is to make sure her clients – along with their families and friends – are armed with the knowledge to make educated decisions, have a good relationship with money and understand their options when it comes to investing.

Jen’s most recent role was Director, Financial Planning at Edelman Financial Engines. She spent over 5 years helping clients put all of the pieces of what she calls your “financial puzzle” together. She also worked with TD Ameritrade before they were purchased by Schwab. Before that, she held 2 positions at the same time at JPMorgan Chase – “Private Client Banker” and “Small Business Specialist.” While at JPMorgan Chase, she helped clients navigate all that is finance, from banking to mortgages and from credit to investing. All of which has led her to be an advocate for doing what is in her clients’ best interest.

Jen resides in the Sacramento, Northern California area, and has 2 adult children – daughter (Makenzee) and son (Andrew). She is also “Mimi” to her granddaughter Lilly. In her free time, Jen enjoys listening to live music, playing with her dog “Nugget” and riding her new electric bike with her partner, Ted.
