Scott Duba is Chief Investment Officer and Managing Director of Wealth Management at Prime Capital Investment Advisors. In his role, Scott oversees all of the firm’s asset management and alternative investment strategies for both wealth management and retirement plans. He is responsible for leadership of research, portfolio management and the firm’s trading functions. In addition, Scott is strategically engaged with the firm’s wealth management business. His responsibilities extend to governance as a member of the Investment Advisory Board as well as various Investment Advisory Committees.

Previously, he served as a Director and Portfolio Manager at Mariner Wealth Advisors where, among other responsibilities, he led the firm’s cryptocurrency strategy, including extensive research and writing on blockchain, bitcoin, ethereum, and decentralized finance.  Scott was also the co-founder of Antora Peak Capital Management, a distressed debt hedge fund, and has held senior analyst roles at Artisan Partners, Neuberger Berman, and Lehman Brothers Asset Management.

Scott is a CFA Charterholder, has an MBA from the University of Chicago, and a BA from the University of Notre Dame. He is also the founder and Managing Director of 425 Holdings, a strategic consulting and financial technology venture firm.

Scott, his wife Erin, and their five children reside in the Kansas City area.
