Tim Dowden started his career at Morgan Stanley in 2001, marking the beginning of a distinguished 20+ years in the wealth management industry. His most recent role was as the Director of Financial Planning at Edelman Financial Engines, where he served for an impressive 12 years. In this position, Tim engaged directly with individuals and families, delivering comprehensive wealth management services and also conducted presentations on crucial topics, including tax-efficient wealth accumulation and distribution, strategies for executive equity compensation and liquidity events, Social Security, and Medicare.

Tim’s passion lies in guiding clients towards their aspirations, whether it’s realizing their dream retirement, fulfilling philanthropic goals, or establishing a lasting legacy for future generations. Beyond the numbers, Tim recognizes that at the core, financial planning is about aiding people in achieving their aspirations.

A graduate of Southwest Texas, Tim holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. Currently residing in Lake Highlands with his wife Emily, Tim is a devoted family man, sharing his home with their two boys, Owen and Wyatt.
